Virtual Assistant Ability Model (VAAM)
Although virtual assistants such as Alexa, Google assistant and customer service virtual agents are becoming widely accepted in the real world, people are not aware that different virtual assistants have different levels of ability and intelligence, and that User Experience (UX) with virtual assistants differ with regard to the degree of intelligence and ability. This talk will present VAAM, a framework for analyzing and evaluating the approach and techniques used by an organization to develop virtual assistants, as well as the virtual assistants' ability in handling user requests and finishing a task. It also provides short term guidance to further enhance the ability of existing virtual assistants and long term vision.
