Mina Saidze
Data Analyst
Funke Digital
Mina Saidze works as a Data Analyst for FUNKE Digital, the digital unit of FUNKE Mediengruppe, Germany's third largest publishing house. Before entering the world of number crunching, Mina wrote articles for taz.die tageszeitung and received journalistic training (Deutsche Welle, Radio Bremen) as Heinrich Böll Foundation scholarship holder. Mina, who holds a degree in Economics from Humboldt University of Berlin, gathered her experience in data wrangling in media as well in e-commerce. At the interface between technology and media business she turns data into money by identifying business use cases and taking a deep dive into Big Data.
As the digital centerpiece of the FUNKE MEDIENGRUPPE, FUNKE Digital has been living the Berlin startup flair since its founding in March 2014 and is driving the further development of the publishing industry. They modernize existing offers and create new products. Born as digital natives, they see themselves as pioneers who support the locations of the media group with words and deeds: product conception, agency business, data analytics, sales and software development - we offer everything from a single source.
